About the Author:

JOE OWEN is a Christian author, speaker, and educator dedicated to equipping the church with a theologically solid and informed approach to understanding and defending the faith. As director of the World Languages Department at Answers in Genesis [Answers in Genesis], Joe’s influence extends throughout the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking world, where he teaches apologetics in universities and seminaries and participates in debates presenting biblical, scientific, and philosophical evidence challenging modern theories about our origins and postmodern concepts of human identity and purpose. With bachelor’s and master’s degrees in theology, he is the author and co-author of works that address the influence of ideologies from the Enlightenment era, biblical inerrancy in light of textual criticism, and various pastoral issues such as restoring families and marriages in crisis. Although born in the United States, Joe and his wife, a proud Mexican, live in Monterrey, Mexico, where they are the parents of six children and serve actively in their local church.
